Tracy and me with Annie (the white one), Sammi (the black one), and Molly Mia.
We definitely love our dogs. So much so, that we call pictures we take of our dogs and us, "family pictures". We had a great family picture taken of Tracy and I back in 2008 when we had Lexi, Cleo, and Maggie. Of course, all three of those girls have since passed on, and now we have Samantha Jo, Molly Mia, and Annabelle Joy (Annie). Since Tracy's parents were here for Thanksgiving, we had them snap some pictures in our back yard. It was a little too sunny, as you can see, but at least we finally have a picture of what I call the "new tres amigas".

Obedience School Begins!

Thursday night, we began obedience school for the two puppies. Well, they're 11 months old, so they're not really puppies, but then, I still refer to my two older girls, Lexi and Cleo, as puppies. Anyway, I wonder what they had in mind when they called it "obedience school". It seems to me that I already obey pretty well. I feed the dogs when they expect it, I let them out when they demand it, and I play with them when they tell me to! I think I should be able to test out of the class. I'm really not in charge at home; I just pay the mortgage and make frequent trips to PetsMart for my little harem of canines. Here, Molly and Sammi take a break in front of the fireplace.

The Strength of Dogs!

Wow, dogs can be strong when they're excited. We just got back from walking the herd. Molly and Sammi, being less than a year old, are full of exuberance and energy. It's a good thing there's no ice on the roads here in Tennessee, or else our neighbors might have seen me doing a full belly-flop, being pulled down the road by two young dogs, or at least, pulling my arm with me screaming behind them, running to catch up. If there's any justice at all, it's that that they constantly run into each other, and hard. It's like watching two bumper cars trying to run each other over. Fortunately for me, they run out of gas pretty quickly, and then they can take a nice calm walk with the rest of the herd.
