How many dogs do we really have?

Well, after the first post, you might think we have five dogs. We only have four, and make no apologies for it…we love them like children. When we moved to Knoxville, TN from Richmond, VA, we had three: Lexi, Cleo, and Maggie. Maggie died on July 31, 2008, from kidney disease; she was one day short of her 4th birthday. I’ll write a lot more about her and that experience in future posts. Since her death, we adopted two new puppies from a shelter, Molly Mia and Sammi Jo. Yep, all five dogs are/were girls. I like to say I have my own little harem at home. Or, sometimes I just call home “the zoo”.
